I would like to introduce one of my newest babies, Alyssa. She is the beautiful Tanya sculpt by the incredible artist Gudrun legler. Alyssa is one of only 750 made and the kits sold out within minutes! She is 19 inches long and weighs approx 3 and hlf pounds. When shopping for Alyssa her new mummy or daddy can buy her some preemie or newborn clothes.
Alyssa has been painted using genesis heat set paints. Her true to life skin tone was created over many days using many layers to create depth and realism. She has subtle veining and soft lifelike mottling that looks deep under her skin. I have given Alyssa a sparse head of micro rooted slumberland mohair. I directionally root all my babies hair so it can be dampened and styled and will stay in position when dried.
I have not used any sand at all in Alyssa so she is safe to travel anywhere in the world. I use only the highest quality products in my reborns and would certainly not sell anything I wouldn't be happy to have in my own collection. Alyssa has a doe suede body 3/4 arms and legs that have been weighted with tiny glass beads. Her head has been weighted and just like a real baby needs to be supported when held.
Alyssa will come home with two outfits a sleeper and receiving blanket. She will also come with birth certificate, care instructions and a little gift for her new mummy. Alyssa does not have a magnet so is safe to be around everyone. If however her new mummy would like a dummy I am more than happy to put a magnet in free of charge.
Please note:
Alyssa is NOT a play toy. I do not recommend her for young children. She is a collectors item, to be loved, cherished and handled with care. With proper care she will last for years and be able to be passed down through the family.
